Its 870 square metre living area, furnished with numerous unique pieces, has been reworked and renovated by Widmer Wohnen in such a way that the single elements merge to form a delightful combination and create a harmonious overall impression. Adaptions of the surrounding alpine scenery have been created in natural colours and materials. The muted colour palette alternates between light brown, green and red tones. Traditional touches, such as the furs used in the furnishings, have been interpreted and realised with a modern and creative feel. An optical statement has been created, in which comfort comes into full effect. No more than the slightest structural modifications had to be made in order to give the rooms full functionality, combined with casual charm. A convincing solution was found for every possible challenge. In this vein, the typical curse for every mountain apartment, that the winter sun, shining on the snow, creates blinding brightness and bothersome reflections, was banished with fabric from the Christian Fischbacher collection. The chosen fabric, with a floral design, was double stitched. The result is curtains, which are just as decorative as they are effective. Fresh flower arrangements provide the interior with a natural airiness and beauty and round off the complete Widmer Wohnen masterpiece.
The redesigned apartment consists of five single suites. Each suite contains a bedroom, dressing room, bathroom and lounge area. The stylish furniture and the generous bathrooms meet the standards found in luxury hotel suites. In addition there are also rooms for common usage, for dining together, for conversation and for games. The rooms, set with comprehensive art collections of paintings and sculptures by different notable artists, invite you to aesthetic contemplation. From the front terrace – decorated with a 90 x 90 x 40 centimetre amethyst – you can enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery. Each area bears the signature of Widmer Wohnen’s creative experts. The soft interplay of colours is relaxation for the soul. Soft, modern carpets provide a pleasant atmosphere, emphasised by lovingly selected accessories. The waiting area, furnished with seating, can be transformed, when required, into a party room for up to one hundred guests. The rustic wine cellar plays a big part even in smaller gatherings.
